Why my books ask questions
Many children’s books end with a sentence that explains what the story means. With that the conversation is over before it has begun.
My books end with a question that has no right result. What would you have done? When did you last experience that? Children answer without fear of saying something wrong.
For parents this is a relief. They do not have to explain anything, they only have to listen. And that is exactly when children say the most.
